Ajax signing Andre Onana has taken a swipe at former club Barcelona.

The Cameroon goalkeeper left Barca B for Ajax last week in a permanent transfer.

Onana told Sport: "I never thought I would leave them (Barca). But they did nothing to keep me.

"But life goes on."

Despite the bitter split, Onana still had positive words for La Masia.

"Sometimes you feel like you're at home. It's a family."

On his former Barca B teammates, he added: "All the players in that squad are ready for the first team."
