Ajax striker Luis Suarez is still very much a target for Liverpool recent reports suggest.
The Uruguay international is the Reds' number one transfer target for the winter and manager Kenny Dalglish and club owner John Henry are making it their duty to bring him to Anfield.
After initial interest, there seemed to be a flat spot as the Reds dropped the importance in trying to obtain the former Groningen man, but it is now believed that Liverpool will ramp up their efforts.
A fee of around £27million has been mooted by Ajax but the Reds will only put forward £15m.
It has been reported that Henry dined with Suarez's agent, Pere Guardiola, as a possible transfer now seems high on the cards.
