Ajax are chasing Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic.
The Spain international is wanted by Ajax boss Marco van Basten as a replacement for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who is joining Real Madrid next month.
Ajax are prepared to offer £11 million for Krkic when the winter market opens.
