Ajax have asked Swansea City boss Michael Laudrup to help them in a tax battle - through a newspaper advertisement!
The Sun says the case dates back a staggering 16 YEARS, to 1997, when Laudrup joined the Dutch giants from Japanese team Vissel Kobe.
Ajax claim they have paid taxes on behalf of both Laudrup and former Glasgow Rangers striker Shota Arveladze - and are now trying to recover the money.
Bizarrely, instead of writing to former Barcelona forward Laudrup at Swansea FC, Ajax have placed an advertisement in a local newspaper asking the 104-cap Danish international to contact them.
