Ajax midfielder Theo Janssen says teammate Jan Vertonghen is the best player in the Eredivisie.
The Belgium defender is the subject of transfer talks with Tottenham this week.
Janssen said: "After January, Jan took a big step forward. He is by far the best player in the league and I see him really becoming a world class defender.
"But he is not only two classes better, but also a true leader."
