Ajax have expressed interest in helping football development in Malaysia.

A spokesman for Ajax said the Dutch giants have presented its proposal to the Malaysian Youth and Sports Ministry.

Ajax's development in Malaysia would involve the youth at the state and club levels, he added.

Ajax are being represented in talks with Malaysia by the English-based Gifted Group Limited, which organised this month's Champions Youth Cup.
