Ajax have opened talks with Chelsea for Bertrand Traore.

Ajax hope to take Traore on-loan next week with the option to buy at the end of the season.

The Burkina Faso international enjoyed an outstanding 12 months on-loan with Vitesse Arnhem last term, scoring 13 goals in 29 games.

Asked about Traore, Ajax chief Marc Overmars was keeping his cards close to his chest.

"I will not go into names," he responded when asked about signing Traore last night.
