Ajax have handed trials to released Aston Villa attacker Harry Forrester.

Forrester was surprisingly released by Villa at the end of last season.

He has since been looking for a new club and Dutch giants Ajax have come in with an offer, giving the attacking midfielder the chance to prove himself in Holland.

Forrester, 20, was capped by England at Under-17 level and will now hope to win a permanent deal in Amsterdam.
