Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel is calm over interest from Barcelona.
While he admits it is flattering to reportedly be on Barca's radar, he has no idea whether they are actually plotting an approach.
"It's on the internet, yes. But that's just the past 80 years there have been messages," he told AT5.
"Barcelona is definitely a nice club, but I know absolutely nothing of any interest in me."
Van der Wiel added: "But if Alves leaves, I still do not know what happens at that club. Myself, I just assume that I will play for Ajax next season."
