Ajax have been fined for a fans' jibe at Manchester City's owners.
Ajax have been slapped with an £8,500 fine by UEFA for a banner unveiled by their supporters in the 3-1 Champions League win over Manchester City in October.
The fans unveiled a cartoon banner at the Amsterdam ArenA showing a sheikh holding a bag of money with the words 'Against Modern Football' written underneath it.
Uefa's official reason for the fine was for the 'display of a provocative and inappropriate banner'.
