Dutch giants Ajax are plotting an ambitious summer move for Manchester United's Daley Blind.
The Sun reports that the Amsterdam powerhouse are eyeing a sensational return for Blind who left the club for the Red Devils in a £14million deal in 2014.
Blind, 27, has been in and out of Jose Mourinho's team this season and it is understood that Ajax will make a bid once they discover if he is in the Portuguese manager's plans for next season or not.
The Holland international joined United as a midfielder but has been deployed mainly in defence as a left-back during his time at Old Trafford.
With Mourinho planning an overhaul of his squad this summer, it seems unlikely that he will keep a player who has started only 16 times in the Premier League in 2016/17, leaving the door open for a potential homecoming at the Amsterdam Arena.
