Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld says it's too soon to consider a move to England.

The young Belgian is wanted by Tottenham and Newcastle United.

"Thomas Vermaelen was almost 24 when he left Ajax for Arsenal, while Jan Vertonghen is two years older than I am, and has only just left," Alderweireld told Elf Voetbal.

"So if I'd follow in their footsteps, I would not leave Ajax in the upcoming summer, but in the year after that. I still have plenty of time to further develop and follow the same path as them."
