Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt insists he hasn't heard from Tottenham.

De Ligt has played down talk of a move to Tottenham.

The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Spurs as a replacement for Toby Alderweireld, says the Mirror.

A £45m fee has been mooted for the 18-year-old but he is remaining coy over the possible switch.

"I don't know anything about it - and neither does my agent," he said.
