Ajax coach Martin Jol is coy over a January move for Liverpool attacker Ryan Babel.

Babel announced over the weekend that he would welcome a loan move to Ajax in January.

Jol said: "I've read what he said, but I don't have anything to say at the moment. Babel does appeal as a good option, but it all depends on whether we need him when the time comes."
