Ajax coach Frank de Boer admits marketing chief Edwin van der Sar can open doors for them at Manchester United.
De Boer is keen to take loan players from United for next season.
He revealed: "His standing there is in high regard, so those contacts are easy to organise.
"It's like for me and Marc Overmars at Barcelona, where the door is always open."
