Ajax coach Frank de Boer has ruled out including Manchester United legend Edwin van der Sar in his squad for the looming clash with PSV Eindhoven.

It was mooted the 42 year-old football director would be asked to come out of retirement with Ajax suffering a keeper crisis going into the game.

But De Boer has confirmed on the club's website he is prepared to call up a youth team keeper to sit on the bench this weekend.
