Ajax chief scout Hans van der Zee is set to join Chelsea.
The News of the World says the Dutchman will work under new Chelsea manager Frank Rijkaard next season.
Frank Arnesen will become Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's director of football with Van Der Zee the Dane's nominated appointment as chief scout.
