Ajax chief Marc Overmars says Frenkie de Jong should stay in Amsterdam this season.

De Jong is a top summer target for Barcelona.

Overmars told De Telegraaf: "Let them [any interested clubs] come back next year.

"Let the players play 40 games with Ajax this year.

"They'll not be allowed to leave, even for crazy amounts."

Other clubs have also inquired about Donny van de Beek and Matthijs de Ligt, however it looks like the sporting director has closed the door on any of their departures.
