Ajax cannot rule out January sale for Arsenal, Man Utd target Stekelenburg
Ajax cannot rule out selling goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg in January.
Stekelenburg has been watched by Manchester United goalkeeper coach Eric Steele and was linked with Arsenal in the final weeks of the summer market.
If Ajax fail to progress past the Champions League group stage, they could be forced to sell to balance the books.
An insider told talkSPORT: "There was interest in him, yes. But there was no official bid as Stekelenburg didn't want to leave.
"What will happen in January? Who knows? You can never tell in football."
