Espanyol have conceded defeat to Ajax in the battle for Banfield striker Dario Cvitanich.
AS says Espanyol have pulled out of negotiations for the Argentine after Ajax tabled a £4 million offer for the centre-forward last week.
Cvitanich has settled on terms with Ajax over a five-year contract.
