Andy Johnson has admitted some frustration over his battle to win a place in Everton's first team.
But the England man is likely to be on the bench when the Toffees attempt to extend their unbeaten run to 14 matches at Manchester United tomorrow.
AJ's season has been interrupted by a niggling ankle problem and by boss Moyes' preference for Yakubu - who has scored seven goals in his last five matches - as a lone striker.
Johnson, 26, said: "We have done well but we have great strength in the squad at the moment.
"Yak is on fire and Tim Cahill is playing well."
Moyes insists his side have the self-belief to make life hard for United.
He said: "It will be a test against United to see if we can show that form."
