The founder of Air Asia and chief of Formula One outfit Team Lotus, Tony Fernandes, says he is considering investing in recently-promoted Norwich City Football Cub.
The Malaysian entrepreneur pondered pumping some cash into the Norfolk club when they were in League One but thought against it. However, now he is prepared to get involved after holding talks with Canaries officials.
"We talked, we talked definitely and there was a whole emotional appeal of everything Norfolk and green and yellow, and it made sense," he told the Norwich Advertiser.
"And there's no reason why we can't work together in the future and do things together.
"I'm thrilled at what's happened at Norwich - and I've also got to know my own capabilities in life and you don't want to give yourself indigestion."
And Fernandes admitted that his apparent misfortune at missing out on the purchase of relegated West Ham United is something he counts himself lucky for.
"It's fun - I tried to buy West Ham and failed, and it was probably the best thing that ever happened to me," he added.
