Manchester City ace Sergio Aguero has hinted manager Pep Guardiola would love to bring Leo Messi to Spain.

Aguero admits he spoke with his Argentina teammate about working with Guardiola at Barcelona before his appointment at City.

And last night, he revealed Guardiola is always talking about Messi with City's players.

Aguero was quoted by Sport: "Pep loves him.

"He always talks about him and tells me he was very happy to have been his coach and to have won so much.

"He (Guardiola) loves him (Messi)."

He added: "City is ready to become one of the best clubs in the world and maybe it's this year or not, but we will make every effort, with Pep, to win the Champions League."
