Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre is happy to stay at the Vicente Calderon.

Aguirre turned down a return to the Mexico coaching position earlier this summer and said: "I wanted to fulfill my contract with Atletico because for me this is above everything else.

"And yes, as you say, I want great things for Atletico and I love the challenge of the Champions League. I enjoy working at this club."
