Aguero wants £50,000-a-week more than Terry, Lampard to join Chelsea
Chelsea's bid for Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has stalled over his £200,000-a-week wage demands.
The Sun says the Argentina star wants a staggering £10million a year to quit Spaniards Atletico Madrid for the Premier League.
That would easily make him the highest-paid player in England on a whopping £200,000 A WEEK.
Chelsea's top earners at the moment are skipper John Terry and midfielder Frank Lampard on around £150,000 a week.
Aguero's salary demand could well end up pricing him out of a move to Chelsea, as he would also command a transfer fee of around £35m.
Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon is overseeing the move for 21-year-old Aguero. He insists the club must trim its wage bill and attempt to reduce costs as part of a long-term plan to become self-sufficient without the need for subsidy from owner Roman Abramovich.
Aguero would pocket £6m a year AFTER tax if he gets his way on wages.

didier - much like your namesake, you have your head buried in the sand. I wouldn't be surprised if you were rolling around on the floor like you'd just been shot as you were typing that drivel.
That's fine with me though, ignorant fuckheads get what they deserve. Just remember his name....
Actually chelsam, I'm pretty certain that fans of other clubs merely smirk at the fact that the bottomless pockets of Roman Abramovich has managed to buy him absolutely NOTHING in the last few years. It does appear that actually having some skill in effective team management is still worth something these days.
Incoherent blabber from mentally challenged fans such as yourself isn't helping Chelsea's cause....
It's quite obvious for anyone with a couple of brain cells that players and clubs merely price themselves out of markets they have no desire playing or working in. It really doesn't seem that hard of a concept, does it?
