After weeks of controversy, Sergio Aguero produced one his best performances in an Atletico Madrid shirt as they stunned Barcelona 4-3 last night.

At the final whistle, the Argentine deflected praise onto his teammates - and also his newly born son.

"I think he brought me some luck today," smiled Aguero.

"Also, Diego Forlan had an incredible game. Everyone played well. Sure we made some mistakes in the first-half, but we never stopped trying."

On the key of getting back into the game, Aguero added: "Barca seemed to hang back after going 2-0 ahead. That allowed us to push further forward and take advantage of the space."
