Manchester City first team coach David Platt has revealed that Sergio Aguero sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday night's 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic.
The Argentine striker was subbed off at half-time at Etihad Stadium and could now miss the weekend's trip to Tottenham.
"He has got a problem, but it was a slight problem. It was more of a precaution than anything else. He felt his hamstring tighten up," he said.
"Just the sheer proximity of the game on Sunday would say he is a doubt."
