Aguero rejects Real Madrid claims after signing new Man City deal

Sergio Aguero has spoken of his delight at signing a new contract with Manchester City.

The 24-year old Argentine striker has penned a new deal with City, which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2017, and showed his loyalty to the Eastlands club by quickly playing down suggestions he was set to join Real Madrid this summer.

"They were only rumours. I have a commitment at Manchester City, which is a great club," he told the media in his homeland.

"I am happy to be part of a team that is growing up very fast. I am happy in Manchester, two years have gone by and I expect that we can do big things in the next few years. Click here to reach the No1 destination for hard news and exciting gossip on Manchester City
