Aguero pulls out big guns to get dream Real Madrid move

Sergio Aguero is serious about leaving Atletico Madrid - and wants a move to Real Madrid. Marca says the presence of agent Gonzalo Rebasa, who usually works from Argentina, is a sure sign Aguero has made it clear to Atletico he wants out.

The player's camp met with Atletico officials at the Vicente Calderon yesterday evening and Aguero released a short statement on his website at 11:30pm:

"I expressed to them my decision to leave Atletico. I asked that they consider all unconditional offers that come from other clubs."

While Manchester City and Chelsea are interested, Aguero's reps are scheduled to meet with Real this week to formally discuss a controversial move across town.

Atletico identities are already warning Real about trying to buy Aguero - but all indications are that he is determined to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real president Florentino Perez has always insisted his big name targets publicly declare their wish to leave their current club - and this week Aguero held up his end of the bargain.
