Sergio Aguero is fully fit to make a positive impact against Chelsea this weekend according to Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini.
The Argentine striker came off the bench late in City's 1-0 Champions League loss to Bayern Munich on Wednesday but Pellegrini has assured fans that he will be starting when the reigning Premier League champions host the league leaders on Sunday.
"He is very important. Maybe Sergio in this moment is not ready to play three games in one week (of) 90 minutes," said Pellegrini of Aguero who has three league goals already this term.
"That is why I thought it was better for him and the squad not to play 90 minutes against Bayern.
"He is fresh for Sunday and I am sure he will make a difference."
