Aguero must drop wage demands to get Chelsea move

Atletico Madrid ace Sergio Aguero will have to climb down from his wage demands if he is to get a move to England.

Atletico director Miguel Angel Gil Marin effectively put Aguero up for sale yesterday, encouraging Chelsea to try again for the Argie after missing out on him in the summer.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea and Manchester United were stunned by his wage demands above £200,000 a week. Liverpool had a look at him a couple of years ago before his £13.5million move from River Plate to Spain and Fernando Torres would like to link up with him again.

All the big clubs know who he is but Atletico have set his buyout clause at about £55m. However, with a debt mountain reported to be £275m, they are open to offers.
