Sergio Aguero admits Manchester City have underperformed this season.

If they win the FA Cup, it will be a third major trophy in three seasons and mean a challenging year at the Etihad ends on a positive note.

Asked if winning the Cup would make the season a success, Aguero said: "In a sense, yes it does but in another you have to remember that we have a great team that is capable of fighting to win more trophies.

"We could have done better. We are too many points away from United in the league.

"It is a club that has not won a lot in the past and at least if we win one trophy then everything is good for the club."
