Middlesbrough are yet to register a Premier League win in 2017, with their last league victory coming back in December.

Boss Steve Agnew says his players are desperate to bounce back.

"The dressing room was very disappointed after the game on Wednesday, and communication goes a long way to putting the players in a positive frame of mind," he said.

"The players understand the frustrations and disappointment, and spirits are good.

"A lot of work has gone in from everybody, and we've had a good meeting this morning - the players are positive towards getting the three points we need.

"Three points brings us closer and puts pressure on elsewhere. Confidence comes with results, and that's what we're aiming for.

"The fighting spirit is still there and it will be evident on the pitch."
