Aggressive style suits Leicester says Pearson

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson believes that his side's swashbuckling style can help them beat the drop this season.

Leicester managed to give themselves a wonderful chance of avoiding the drop with a dramatic 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion last weekend and apart from the result, the Foxes' wonderful attacking display put a smile on the fans' faces.

Manager Pearson was surely pleased with his side following the game and has now stated that the aggressive approach adopted by the players suits Leicester more than trying to defend from the first minute.

The 51-year old said: "I don't see a massive difference in how we approached it at West Brom.

"For the most part this season, especially away from home against the likes of Arsenal and Spurs, we've tried to be as positive as we can. We are not necessarily the best side at being a defensive outfit when sitting back during games.

"We're better off if we're playing with aggression but the downside to that is sometimes you concede more goals than you like."
