Liverpool defender Daniel Agger insists that the players cannot focus on the FA ban imposed on striker Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan is set to miss eight matches and is due to pay a £40,000 fine after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra but Agger has indicated that although the Reds fully support Suarez, they have to get on with the job.
"The squad is together, that is the way it is. It (support for Suarez) has never been in doubt.
"Of course it is second nature to back our friend but the most important thing is to win football games - it just wasn't a big success at Wigan.""That is not on our mind," Agger said in the wake of last night's scoreless draw with Wigan Athletic. "We are playing football and that is most important, we don't think about that stuff.
