Liverpool defender Dan Agger says Denmark teammate Christian Eriksen needs to get nasty to fulfil his potential.

The Ajax whizkid has been linked with Liverpool this year, along with Manchester United and Chelsea.

Agger says: "He might need a little more to make that final step. He needs to be aggressive. If he can, there are no boundaries for him. I do not think it has to do with a lack of confidence, but it's not easy walking in a senior player's footsteps.

"Christian is just a good boy, but you cannot always be a good boy in this world."
