Dan Agger says there's great positivity sweeping through Liverpool these days.
The Reds were impressive in victory over Bolton Wanderers.
Denmark defender Agger said: "It's down to a combination of everything. A strong squad, a good manager, good coaches around him, it is not only one thing.
"The way he wants to play is pass and move and with a high tempo. Ever since I joined Liverpool that is how we have wanted to play but it just hasn't always worked out like that."
It may be too soon to suggest that Liverpool could challenge Manchester United at the top again - but a top-four finish is surely the minimum target.
Seven points from a possible nine is a decent start.
Agger said: "It is a bit early to say it after three games. But if you work hard and keep going you normally get there and get the luck you need to be at the top."
