Liverpool defender Dan Agger says teammate Raheem Sterling is capable of shining for England against Denmark tonight.
Ahead of the encounter in London, the centre-back spoke in glowing terms about his younger colleague and explained why Sterling is capable of excelling for his country.
"He can handle the pressure, or else he would not play for us, for Liverpool," he said.
"It's a great opportunity for him. If he continues what he is doing right now I cannot see why [he would] not [make the World Cup squad]. He is a great, great talent and has some qualities England can use."
