Galatasaray are launching a £5 million bid for Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam.
The Daily Mail says Adam is a surprise target for Turkish club Galatasaray.
The 28-year-old joined Stoke for £5m on a four-year contract from Liverpool in the summer of 2012 and is the club's top scorer in the Premier League this season with five goals including one against Liverpool on Sunday.
Roberto Mancini is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of their Champions League tie with Chelsea and Adam is eligible to play.
The midfielder's representatives are understood to be in Istanbul with Stoke awaiting a proposal.
