The agents of Adrian Mutu are confident the Fiorentina striker will avoid a lengthy drugs ban.
The Romanian tested positive twice in January for banned substance sibutramine, which was not listed in the ingredients on a packet of diet pills he took over Christmas.
"We had a meeting lasting several hours with the Fiorentina directors," Giovanni Becali told Sport.ro.
"Mutu will have to be judged on what he has done, but he is not a repeat offender.
"This is why I believe Adrian will receive a ban of two months or at most three."
