The agent of Ronaldo admits a sensational return to Italy would be considered by the Corinthians striker.

Palermo sports director Walter Sabatini expressed interest in bringing Ronaldo back to Serie A over the weekend after the Brazilian's superb return to form.

And Ronaldo's agent, Fabiano Farah, said: "I have heard the comments of Sabatini, we're happy because Palermo is an important club.

"Ronaldo to Palermo? For now I can only say that my client is happy at Corinthians, where he is slowly regaining form. He wants to return to the glories of the past, he wants to return to great levels.

"I greatly appreciate Sabatini and Palermo, a great club. For us it is gratifying to know that a club like Palermo has noted the recent performances of Ronaldo.

"He's happy in Brazil, has a contract with them and wants to respect it. His future in Italy? We'll proceed day to day and then see how the situation evolves."
