The agent of Sebastian Giovinco admits there's still some way to go to find agreement over a new contract with Juventus.

Claudio Pasqualini said: "He's a Juventus player and is ready to sign a contract. The difference of views relates exclusively to the terms offered.

"We want an agreement based on Sebastian's ability, while Juve regards the age of the player as more important.

"It's true that Sebastian was born in the same year as Claudio Marchisio and Paolo De Ceglie, but I do not believe that a contract can be signed by following this policy because I believe that a player must be paid for what is his true technical ability."
