Agent Vuksan reveals Tottenham keeping close watch on emerging Croatian talent

Croatian super agent Nikky Vuksan says Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has given the nation's footballers a huge boost.

Redknapp has always talked up Croatian talent and has Vuksan's clients Luka Modric and Vedran Corluka on the books at Spurs.

Asked if Modric's success with Spurs has blazed a trail for Croatian talent, Vuksan told tribalfootball.com: "Of course, but not only Luka Modric, who leads the pack of the Croatian players in the Premiership, but also Vedran Corluka and Niko Kranjcar have been more then successful in the UK, Ivan Klasnic is the best player at Bolton and Nikica Jelavic is the best player in the Scottish League.

"What is also very important is that all the clubs have emphasized many times that these guys are not only true professionals on the pitch but also great additions to any clubhouse and great characters to have."

Vuksan enjoys a good relationship with Redknapp and admits Tottenham keep a close watch on the talent coming through in Croatia.

"With Mr. Redknapp we cherish a strictly business relationship. The club and its scouting department as well as the management are watching closely all the Croatian young talent."
