Tottenham remain in the hunt for River Plate striker Lucas Alario.

Alario made 26 appearances for Argentinian side River Plate last season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assist.

Alario's agent Pedro Aldave has revealed that if the north London club meet the 23-year-old's release clause, he'll sign.

"Today Alario is at River. There was only one proposal, from Genoa, and interest of Tottenham," Aldave told LPM.

"If Tottenham pays the clause, Alario is going."
