Marseille striker Djibril Cisse would be keen on a move to Portsmouth, says his agent Ranko Stojic.
"He wants to play for a club with ambition and Portsmouth are a club with ambition. There has been no contact from Portsmouth or anyone else yet, but we expect to see who is serious this week."
Stojic continued: "Portsmouth were interested in Djibril last season and so were Manchester City and West Ham.
"That was then, though, and this is now. I know about Portsmouth and have spoken with Harry [Redknapp] in the past. He is a top coach and someone Djibril would be keen to play for.
"Portsmouth are an ambitious club and Djibril wants to play for an ambitious club."
Unsurprisingly, Tottenham's name was also thrown into the mix by Stojic but a move from The Lilywhites is unlikely.
"There are maybe three or four teams like Portsmouth and Tottenham who he would play for," he added. "He wants to play at the highest level and have European football.
"The Champions League would be good, but so would a team in the Uefa Cup now with ambitions of playing in the Champions League."
