"Djibril's main priority is to come back to England," stated Stojic in The News. "We've had some very interesting offers from Spain but he is very, very motivated to play in The Premier League again.
"That was then, though, and this is now. I know about Portsmouth and have spoken with Harry [Redknapp] in the past. He is a top coach and someone Djibril would be keen to play for.
"Portsmouth are an ambitious club and Djibril wants to play for an ambitious club."
Unsurprisingly, Tottenham's name was also thrown into the mix by Stojic but a move from The Lilywhites is unlikely.
"The Champions League would be good, but so would a team in the Uefa Cup now with ambitions of playing in the Champions League."
