The agent of Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby says his loan switch to Fulham is ideal.

Holtby has joined Fulham on-loan to the end of the season.

Marcus Noak told TMW: "Fulham have made great efforts to take Lewis. He's joined a club with great ambitions with an excellent manager like René Meulensteen.

"The playing system and philosophy of Fulham are perfect for the characteristics of Lewis.

"He should be more involved in his favorite position for the second half of the season and in the summer we will see what will happen.

"His return to the Bundesliga was not not achieved due to circumstances that did not depend on us."
