Newcastle United is being touted as a possible destination for Bordeaux's Diego Rolan.
Reports in France suggest that Rolan's agent may offer his client to the Magpies if they are unsuccessful in their pursuits of QPR star Charlie Austin and Wolfsburg hitman Bas Dost.
22-year old Uruguayan striker Roland reportedly wants a move to the Premier League and could become attractive to Newcastle if they fail in their bids to sign other quality goalscorers.
The Chronicle adds that Rolan, formerly of Defensor Sporting, would cost any interested clubs around £4million. He has previously been linked with the likes of Stoke City, Malaga and Sevilla.
