Agent of Stromsgodset starlet Odegaard plays down Man Utd offer

Stromsgodset have denied claims that Manchester United have made an offer for talented youngster Martin Odegaard.

The 15-year old ace is already a target for the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain but it was suggested that United had already tabled an offer for the Norwegian midfielder.

However, Stromsgodset sporting director Jostein Flo told TV2 that no proposal from the Red Devils had yet been received by the club.

"We have not received a bid from Manchester United for Odegaard, so once again this is just speculation," said Flo.

"It might have come through the mailbox, but it has certainly not reached me."

Odegaard has attracted plenty of interest this season after scoring five goals in 23 appearances in Norway's Tippeligaen while also making three international appearances for Norway, becoming the youngest player to feature in UEFA European Championship qualifying.
