Stoke City midfielder Geoff Cameron is edging closer to a return.
He has been out with a knee ligament injury since Stoke's win at Hull on October 22.
Agent Gary Mellor told The Sentinel: “He trained ok the back end of last week and again this week, so fingers crossed he will be back in contention next weekend.
“He was probably enjoying his best form as a midfielder for Stoke when the injury happened... right at the end of the Hull game.
“Not only have we missed him here, but it's fair to say the United States has missed him terrible as well.
“But the end is in sight now and it will be great to see him up and running again."
